UTRadioGuide outage

Hi Everyone,

Utah Radio Guide (www.utradioguide.com) may not work this weekend. There's been great patronage this month, so much so that we've hit the highest traffic on record. The host of the web page allows 1 GB (1024 MB) of traffic this month and yesterday we hit 938 MB. Once we hit 1024 the site will fail to load until November 1st.

Thought I'd pass that along, so you are all "in the know."

I think whatever you are interested in and passionate about will make for the best website! When you are having fun your visitors will have a better experience.

lol! That's okay. It's actually my fault the traffic is high, partly. Yes, the numbers of visitors have been great, but I also saved all the images on the site as PNG files - somebody told me that PNG were smaller than JPG. They lied, PNG are 3-4 times bigger than JPG, so we ate up the traffic a bit quicker too.

The poll is mainly a joke. I wanted to see how many votes I can get for Free Burrito Friday's.

You definitely want to go with .tif rather than .png.
That way next month the file quota transfer limit will arrive earlier. Wink

Remember the old days when we use to see who could get the news up faster on the websites..that was fun and the funny part is, I was only using dial-up back then and you should have heard me sreaming at the computer back then cuz I always lost connection .....Yes those were the dayzzz

Love the signature line, UTRadioGuide. If only Del Taco sold gift cards/certificates... of course if they still sell a book of 5 $1 ones, heck we could have free burrito Fridays Very Happy
